This training provides participants with knowledge, skills, and resources for implementing the updated CACFP meal patterns (published 4/25/16). Designed for individuals operating a CACFP, target audiences may include but are not limited to Child Care Centers, Family Child Care Homes, Adult Day Care Centers, At-Risk After-school Programs, and Emergency Shelters.

Family Child Care Fundamentals:

Short, focused training topics on providing nutritious meals for young children. The updated curriculum includes health and wellness information, creative methods for program planning, the importance of teaching children early about good nutrition, and steps for incorporating physical activity.
