Dr. Lewanda Morse is the Director of Education and Training at the Institute of Child Nutrition (ICN). She has over 25 years of experience in educational leadership, with a focus on adult learning and curriculum development. She currently provides leadership to the Training Branch (comprised of the asynchronous and synchronous training teams), the Culinary Branch, and the Education Branch. She also provides oversight for all of the Institute's grant projects.
Dr. Morse is an alumna of the University of Mississippi, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Math and Science, a Master of Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Specialist and Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership. She is a passionate advocate for lifelong learning and believes that everyone has the potential to learn and grow.
In her spare time, Dr. Morse enjoys baking, painting, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is married to Mel, and they have two daughters, Emily and Allie.
