Try this activity with your children. Have them say or write something that they love about their body and why that part is important to them. For example, ‘I love my legs because I can run and play’ or ‘I love my eyes because I can see my favorite color’ or ‘I love my stomach because I can eat all the foods I love’. If we teach them to appreciate their bodies, they will be more likely to properly nourish it. This could be called a self-love valentine.
