Historical/Biographical Sketch: Elizabeth Beavers is an Oklahoma native who dedicated many years of service to child nutrition both in that state and in Texas. Her double major in Home Economics and Business gave her a solid base on which to build a long and highly rewarding career. See also Elizabeth Beavers Oral History.
Scope and Content: This collection contains personal letters, official letters, recipes, and photographs regarding Elizabeth Beaver’s role in child nutrition programs. See also Elizabeth Beavers Photograph Collection. The photos are from a scrapbook of a food service training in Durant, Oklahoma August 3-7, 1952.
