The Edible Schoolyard Project, founded by Alice Waters, has launched lessons from the Edible Schoolyard for students to do at home. https://edibleschoolyard.org/edible-education-home-classroom
The educational resources – created specifically for this time of distance learning – that engage students in understanding how food is deeply connected to so many parts of our lives. The resources are updated weekly.The Food Education Center is a digital hub that is free to the public and gives access to lessons and resources. Pilot Light (non-profit out of Chicago) is currently adding Family Lessons and videos to support families and food education during remote learning.
Extension has state-specific gardening at home (sometimes with kids) resources.
