Instructions
 

  • Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Preheat oven to 350 °F.
  • Place margarine in a microwave-safe bowl. Melt in the microwave for 10 seconds at a time until completely melted.
  • Lightly brush melted margarine onto one side of each piece of bread.
  • Place 1 slice of cheese, 2 slices of tomato, and 1 slice of ham onto unbuttered sides of bread. Top with the additional slices of cheese and bread, buttered side facing out.
    For 25 servings, use 25 slices.
    For 50 servings, use 50 slices.
  • Place sandwiches on sheet pan. Bake in the oven for 10–12 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is lightly toasted. Heat to an internal temperature of 140 °F or higher for at least 15 seconds. Remove from the oven.
    For 25 servings, use 1 full sheet pan (18" x 26" x 1") and 1⅛ sheet pan (6½” x 9½” x 1”).
    For 50 servings, use 2 full sheet pans (18" x 26" x 1") and 1⅛ sheet pan (6½” x 9½” x 1”).
  • Cut sandwiches in half.
  • Serve 1 half. Serve immediately, or keep warm at 140 °F or higher.
