Through the HMI initiative, FNA and Action for Healthy Kids hosted the Healthy Meals Summits to bring together HMI grantees, Recognition Award recipients, school nutrition professionals, industry partners, and national leaders. The summit created a collaborative space for participants to share best practices, celebrate innovation, and explore strategies that strengthen and sustain long‑term improvements in school nutrition. Through keynote conversations, peer‑to‑peer learning, and practical demonstrations, attendees highlighted creative approaches that support healthier, more engaging school meal programs.
