Spice Up Your Pizza

The beginning of May brings with it National Herb Week, a wonderful opportunity to teach children about spicing up their plates. One way to introduce spices to your children is to use them with a favorite food. You could allow children to taste spices such as basil, thyme, and oregano added to pizza, salad, or plain noodles. Herbs and spices can be placed on the side as an alternative to directly on the food.
