This year, ICN will celebrate 30 years of serving the dedicated individuals who feed our nation’s children. Established by Congress in 1989 and funded in 1991 by a grant administered through the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), ICN is the only national center of its kind. We look forward to a year of reflection and continued growth.
As we celebrate our 30th anniversary here at the Child Nutrition Archives we have been looking back on some of the projects we have done over the years. One of the main features of the Archives is our Oral History Project. We strive to preserve the stories of the extraordinary people who have dedicated their professional lives to feeding our nation’s children.
