In a video clip from a presentation for the 1993 American School Food Service Association (ASFSA), now known as the School Nutrition Association, Dr. Josephine Martin tells about the establishment of the National Food Service Management Institute and introduces the work being done.
“The institute is a vision turned into reality,” said Dr. Martin. She lists the “three things I am most proud of:” the development of a satellite network, Breakfast Lunch Training (BLT) modules, and a research unit.
