The Institute was established by Congress in the Child Nutrition and WIC Reauthorization Act of 1989.

What people are saying about the ICN

I anticipated or assumed by the title that this was a subject I knew.  However, it was the opposite.  I received valuable information.  The speaker was able to articulate and have materials presented in an excellent manner.

Introduction to Happy Mealtimes, Boston, MA

The Basic Culinary Math helped me with my problems at Math.  I understand better now and hopefully, I can use it in the kitchen. Trainer was knowledgeable, She had good communication skills. She was able to simplify information for slower learners. She engaged the participants and allowed them to participate throughout the session.

Basic Culinary Math, St. Thomas, VI

Our Managers enjoyed their training and gleamed valuable information that they can take back to the schools. ICN staff is always very helpful and organized. The presenters were excellent. Thank you.

Multiple Sessions - Managing Personalities and Conflict, Food Safety in Schools and Forecasting the Procurement of Foods, Memphis, TN

Both trainers were outstanding. Extremely professional yet down to earth and the entire audience felt comfortable in participating and asking questions.”

Healthy Cuisine for Kids, Casper, WY

Trainer was very engaging – she kept the group interested.  She is the best trainer/ presenter I have experienced in a very long time.  This course was good and I really liked the instructor.
